Will be finished up later today. Kids are both sick and it’s been kind of a trying week.
Hey everybody, so just wanted to throw a quick update out there as to how I’m doing. I’m healing up well, my wrist and leg are still pretty sore and bruised. The actual puncture wounds on my arm are gonna scar for sure, but they’re coming along in terms of healing. The puncture wounds on my leg were at least hindered by my jeans (mostly) so they’re not as bad. My husband’s injuries are a little less intense than mine, so he’s looking good too. Our pitbull Tulip has a few wounds but hers are pretty minor too and she’s doing great. Most importantly, both kids were not harmed and they’ve gotten over their apprehension about being around dogs already. I’m scripting a bunch and trying to get some sketching done. I’m hoping to get some pages done today if I can, but we’ll see how my hands take to the task. Keep an eye on Twitter, I’ll post progress there as I work.
And for those freaky weirdos like me, I wanted to show you how the wounds are doing. I know some of you are like me and like seeing how the human body heals. So there’s some pictures below the cut.
Hey folks, for any of you that don’t follow my Twitter… I got attacked by a dog very early yesterday morning. My right leg, both hands, and left forearm are pretty bruised and bit up. My husband got bit too as I was protecting my kids and my husband was trying to get the dog off of me. I spent a lot of yesterday in the ER. Luckily, our pitbull was with us and managed to tear the dog off of me and chase it off. So things could have been a lot worse. My drawing hand took a bit of a beating and I can’t move all my fingers correctly right now and there’s a pretty deep bruise on my palm from falling when the dog grabbed my leg. Doc says I should be back to normal in a week or two, so no worries. Physical therapy probably won’t even be needed. But just giving you guys an update on why there’s no page right now. I’ll keep you posted, I’ll try and get a double page done for next week to make up for it.
