Like many artists, I’ve been eyeing a Cintiq for awhile now. I’ve been doing some research for alternatives to the Cintiq, because at the $2,500 price mark, it is way out of my league. I found out about a brand called Yiynova that was reviewed by Frenden, whose opinion I trust. It’s $619 and a glove for it is $25, plus $40 in shipping… Still a pretty high price tag for me when money is tight. So I started a GoFundMe to try and get some help purchasing it. I think if I have a tablet monitor, I can draw pages quicker. And quicker pages means that I can update more often! Which would be fantastic, I would love to update 2 or 3 times a week. I also added some reward levels for anyone interested in that sort of thing. Including commissions and a signed copy of the book and a bunch of other goodies. The big reward level will probably also include copies of the colouring book and the mini comic I’m working on.
So, if you’re interested in helping me update more often, please consider donating. Any little bit helps!

For my first round of Webcomic Feature, I wanted to talk to you guys about Dark White! I’ve been digging this one for awhile. The art is great, character design is interesting and unique, but what really sucked me in was the storyline. Here’s the about straight from Lilly:
“Dark White is a webcomic which takes the reader to Faya, where gods and creatures from our own mythology interact. All cultures have their own creation myths. Faya is no different. They believe that in the beginning of their world it was a true paradise. But it did not last. The gods went to war for leadership of the world. This period of time, known as The God’s War, brought disorder and chaos into the new world. The war went on for aeons and the people of Faya suffered for it. Our story takes place long after The God’s War, which took place in the early days of Faya. This is the story of “The Second God’s War” and those who attempt to stop it.”
Should give ya an idea as to why I think TGP fans will be interested in this one. Plus, wolves! Well. They’re sorta like werewolves. But they’re the kinda werewolves I freaking adore. It is darker and more graphic than TGP, so just a heads up there. But go, my minions, go check it out!
After several requests for the digital only PDF download for the Big Book Volume 1, it’s finally available! I have it, and the colouring book, available at TGP’s new Gumroad store. The PDF for the Big Book is only $14. This is a pretty big file, just a heads up, as it is 200 pages of full quality comic pages and several sketches and donator only wallpaper images. Sweet.
You can check out the Gumroad store here. I’ll be adding more digital content (like mini stories, tutorials, etc) as they become available.
Hey guys, last week I said I’d do a giveaway for the new colouring book and that anybody who commented would have an entry. Well…. only 2 people entered. And I love my readers so I couldn’t give it to only 1 of them. So both of them win a free colouring book! So congrats to Lutra and FaolanWolfStar, you both can check your email that you have attached to the accounts you have on the site and your free copy of the colouring book should be there.
